Moving Around the Hometown Community Bank Online Banking

The following buttons are used when navigating the Hometown Community Bank Online Banking. Click on one of the links below for an explanation:




Log Off
Clicking this button will end your Hometown Community Bank Online Banking session and bring you to the Hometown Community Bank home page. The Back button on your browser will not return you to your session. You will need to log back in to the Hometown Community Bank Online Banking to view your accounts. This is a safety feature of Hometown Community Bank Online Banking – using the Log Out button on a computer shared by several people is a good way to prevent others from accessing your account information.

Options (change password)
Clicking this button will bring up a small menu with the option to Change Password. You will then select and confirm your new password. Changing your password frequently is a good idea - making it harder for others to guess it.

Help
Clicking on this button brings up this Help file which can be navigated using the table of contents on the left.

List of Accounts
Clicking this button will provide a summary of all your accounts. If you believe that you have an account that is not displayed here, contact Hometown Community Bank at (706) 654-3199 to have the account added. Click on an account number for the following options:

Balances
Displays the present balance in your account along with current and previous year's interest and the latest activity information.

Transactions
The Transaction List provides a list of all transactions associated with your selected account. The following buttons appear along the bottom of the screen:

  • The Previous Statement button displays only transactions which occurred since the last statement cycle. (Note: you cannot access any other statement information other than the previous month's statement)
  • The Current Statement button displays all the transactions that have occurred during the current cycle.
  • The Previous Day button displays the past day's transactions.
  • The Current Day button displays all the transactions that are pending for the current business day.

Transfers
Movement of funds from one account to another. See the Transfers section for more information on setting up one-time or scheduled transfers.
